So the Shane's little brothers are out?
Posted on 10/12/12 at 8:51 pm to RonBurgundy
they are not currently being recruited by LSU and could end up staying in spain for another year.

This is true. Shane is very young for his class and could have easily waited and joined the team as a 2013 kid.

I went to school. With him while he was at Albany. Tha guy is the real deal. His shot got better. He also played in 1 football game and he was a beast but couldn't finish the year due to transcripts from his last school. He is currently back in Cali playing football and basketball. I know more if you need ta know anything. And he's about 6'4 and half now

Kid wouldn't have been eligible this year either. Quit mid AAU season to run back to Cali as well. Only about 6'2 with shoes and hopefully will make it to a JUCO but I doubt it.

I never understood this terminology. They don't play ball in socks.

Same reason you saw Tyrus Thomas listed at 6'9 or 6'10 then he measured at 6'7.5 or shorter at the combine. I don't really get it either because how tall you are without shoes doesn't matter. You play with them.
Simply put, people like to question a height so I wanted to make sure there was no questioning possible.

Because everyone plays in similar shoes and players will measure in shoes with extra padding to add to their height. Andre Drummond's shoes added like 2.5 inches at the combine. Do you really think he's going to play with those shoes on? Extra weight and high risk of ankle injuries.
Measuring without shoes takes away the opportunity to game the system. In my opinion, "standing reach without shoes" and wing span are the two most important measurements of length. A long neck is not going to help defend.

I don't disagree with you but had I put 6'2... someone would have asked with or without shoes. Simply wanted to clarify. Didn't mean to start this discussion albeit a valid one.

This I agree with 100% ... Too bad they draft people just for this.

Dylan Johns, the 6-10 center from England, is an LSU recruit.
If he signs, will he be a part of the 2012 class or the 2013 class?
Anyone know?

@JoshPaunilNRS: SG Keith Frazier lists Texas, Texas A&M, Memphis, SMU & LSU. Says SMU & A&M are after him the hardest & have his favorite coaching staffs.
@JoshPaunilNRS: Frazier also said he'd prefer to stay close to home. A&M looks strong in this one.

Good to be in the final 5, but not getting hopes up. Looks like LSU will get an official though. This would have been a great weekend to bring him in ...

At least we're still on the list. I somewhat feel bad for SMU as they're missing out on all of their big targets.

Adding this here since it'll die on Tiger Rant.
The three walk-ons all named and on the team.
LINK
Found some info on them (all three are guards):
Dave Jackson
Joshua Badeaux
Mychal Williams
