LSU Alumni in the NFL---Best Player? Biggest Star?

Here's the list: LINK
For best player, I'm going to argue for Kyle Williams, even though he just got injured and is done for the rest of the season. It's hard to say who the biggest star is, but I might go with Joseph Addai just because he's been a big part of the Colts success.
Opinions?

If that's your argument then I'd go with Ryan Clark or even Kevin Fualk.

Biggest star is Dwayne Bowe. He's been in every ad for MNF this week as who to watch for the Chiefs. Don't know any other LSU player who would be in that position for their team.

Jamarcus Russe.......wait....

quote:I almost said Clark. Faulk has been at NE forever, but he's never been a full-time player, so I don't really see him as a big star.
Ryan Clark

It two years there will be no reason to have the argument because Patrick Peterson will be the consensus answer.

Yeah, but he's been a really important piece to the most successful team of the last decade.
But as for pure talent the top few in no particular order at the moment would have to be...
Peterson
Kyle Williams
Bowe
Whitworth
Webster

Kyle Williams made pro bowl last year fwiw

Webster is a good one. I think he may start getting Revis or Asumugha (sp?) treatment soon. He's on a nasty run of INTs.

Bowe for now is the biggest star and an argument can be made for best player.
PP is also up there.
Matt Flynn will be both best player/biggest star in a couple of years once he lands a starting job

Laron Landry....Best player on the Redskins...can't believe no one has mentioned him yet.

Dwayne Bowe and it isn't close. Corey Webster made some nice plays for the Giants last night too, I forgot he was on the Giants.

Don't get too far ahead of your self Flynn is likely going to wind up a starter somewhere, but it'll definitely take some time for him to grow some more.

I love D-Bo but I'd say it's Laron Landry. One of the biggest defensive stars in the league. Best player could be Kyle Williams though. Although D-Bo led the league in TD receptions last year, his team is too inconsistent for him to keep putting in big numbers.

The best?
I would say Bradie James as he has had 5 straight seasons of 100+ tackles (although this season he wont make it)
or I could go to Ryan Clark who has been important to what the Steelers have done
Or Andrew Whitworth, where I know it is hard to gauge an offensive lineman but he has been key in helping a rookie QB develop.
