Athletic, quick undersized LB who had a chance to compete for a scholly during the summer but didn't make the trip.
Went up to Nebraska got offered a scholly and committed.

Offer is for SS, and is a very good friend of Landon Collins. I don't think that is why we offered though.
He skipped both LSU camps this summer, but has been having a great season and the coaches extended an offer.

We're still in good shape with Perkins but this has more to do with Jones having a great senior season apparently.

I think it's more like Micah Eugene last year. A strong senior campaign led to an LSU offer. Too good to pass up so to speak.

I would hope Sandolph's offer isn't pulled. I think it can't hurt to have several options at safety and with the injuries to Reid and Loston, and the possibility of Martin having to play more against Arkansas...I can see offering another safety. However I think Deion could be a LB in the mold of Tahj Jones.

I've only seen limited film, but looks like a great athlete and we have a great DB coach. I saw a post a little while ago on another forum where someone who worked with our DB commits at LSU's camps thought Sandolph looked really good.

if they thought Taj jones could play LB then this kid will play LB, not safety
