to Nuke LaLoosh "You don't respect the game, thats my problem, You've got a gift. When you were a baby, the Gods reached down and turned your right arm into a thunderbolt. You've got a hall of fame arm but you're pissing it away.

How many of us would give anything to be blessed with the talent or opportunities of these three young men? To be so short-sighted, arrogant or simply impulsive as to not realize or care about the consequences of their actions, indicates that they don't respect the game, their teammates, the fans, or the institution they represent.

But you know what, I thought he cared about his team. At least enough to do what's right during the season. Wrong! So he's dropped in my estimation; a young man who has real self-control and priority issues to work on.

Well said Snakebucket. You hit it right on. I love my LSU Tigers and this does piss me off. This team is going to piss away a golden chance to do something special.

They'll be suspended for Auburn... Auburn sucks.

Jcorye1 Not saying they will lose to Auburn but all this BS has an impact on the entire team.

Most teams, but not a team that already had to deal with the main playcaller having to relinquish his duties, their starting QB getting arrested and the business that resulted in that, having to win 3 tough games on the road.

Or we could just say his heisman hopes went "up in smoke."

just like how the team was going to fall apart because of the JJ incident? they smoked "weed", got caught, and got a 1 game suspension.

we're deep in both positions...LSU still rolls auburn. how 'bout we just keep everything in perspective instead of claiming the team is falling apart, control is lost, and we're the U of the 80's.

SAT. Night: "Damn our depth is unreal. Hilliard's a beast, Lee and JJ were big time today. Two long run backs, an interception and recovered two fumbles. Who were the guys that were suspended again?".

While some truth is contained in what you and "Crash Davis", say.... the fact cant be overlooked that these are 18-20 yr. old kids on thier way to becoming men... I dont know about you, but I made plenty of bad decisions on my way to being a 42 yr. old man.....(hell, I still screw up quite a bit now)... One has to look at this issue in the full light of the circumstances, thier age and situation.... at the end of the day, they do have to tow that line.. IMO

It is not over-reacting. They are not individual students like other students. They are student-athleetes, with accountability to the team, the coaches and the fans. Putting their own selfishness ahead of so many is what people are reacting to.

You are thinking wrongly. You are comparing them to a regular student, who if screws up, affects a very small number of folks. When these 3 guys screw up, the affect milliions. That is hardly the same. It is called responsibility and respect to your team. And they did the opposite of responsibility and respect.
