yeah you're right, challenge maps and shite, I loved those personally.
looks to be about 40 hours with campaign and side missions, but the sidemissions are part of the game not a distraction.

All of the side content is nicely designed, giving players plenty of reason to invest significant time. At one point I had six side missions to complete, five canisters to blow up, a political prisoner screaming for help, an unknown masked vigilante watching me from a distant rooftop, a major villain initiating a deadly game through a ringing cell phone, and a handful of riddler challenges staring me in the face

the combat challenges were awesome IMO, it required you to be flawless in some of them against unbelievable odds
and chaining together 40 attacks is always satisfying especially now that they have doubled the fighting animations and you can now double up on thugs

First part does NOT compute with bolded part..
I like to enjoy my games, not "required you to be flawless against unbelievable odds"

we need taylor in this mothafricka...game informer gave AC a 10 and IGN is reportedly expect to give it a perfect score as well

Updated.
The gametrailer video says you spend maybe 12 hours on the campaign. Far cry from 60.

well just the main story maybe, but there are a few hundred riddler trophies apparently.
I still wouldn't go as far as saying 60 hours, but like I said in previous posts, early extremely good/extremely bad reviews are often made for hits.

AC looks like it's going to be awesome, but a 94 Metacritic score is beatable, especially for a behemoth like Skyrim. I think it's going to be really close.

thats also with only 13 reviews.
It should finish with around 40.
I expect it to go down TBH. Most do.
I'm still not worried yet.

Not to mention 1Up gave it an A out of A+ and metacritic listed it as a 100.

Have you seen the reviews AC is getting? I've always maintained that same sentiment, but I'm thinking it's going to be a photo finish.

I'll take a photo finish, at least we know I wasn't crazy for thinking AC could be the higher reviewed game....we'll average the xbox and ps3 scores for AC (no pc release until way after the one week deadline) and average all 3 score for skyrim
Or
I'll take the PS3 score for AC and give Taylor his pick (I'm guessing PC) for skyrim.
Up to Taylor
