Well we did start this along with South Carolina. At the time A&M and Texas was to go SEC as well but Baylor got in the way. Baylor had a lot more political clout back then. Now they only have Kenneth Starr.

Um no. Fact. I'm no frank Broyles fan, but I'll give him this. He saw the future 20 years ago and dared to give the tsippers the bird. Something OU and the gaggies have had trouble doing until now. So no. Not delusional.

You can believe whatever you like. Frank Broyles is from Georgia Tech and a Member at Augusta National this is exactly how it went down. He's always been well connected in SEC country long before the Hogs went to the SEC.
He turned down the Georgia Tech Job to stay at Arkansas.
