Honestly, I think the majority of Hog fans are way too cocky in this rivalry. Yes, we have beat them three of the last four games, but all of those games could have gone either way. Last year we did show dominance in the last drive, but we never clearly owned them throughout the match or anything.

Houston Nutt pulls out a 3OT victory against the Tigers in 2007. That game could have gone either way. In 2008, we were down by a few possessions but pulled out Miracle on Markham #2. I was there by myself at the game (my buddy left) as everyone cleared out of War Memorial in the 3rd quarter.

I know this sounds anti-Hog and reeks of pessimism, but I'm simply trying to be real here. The game with LSU is always a great one. And the last five or so match-ups with them seriously could have gone either way. Currently we are just on the winning end. This game is going to be a close one as always.
