Dude our ads always suck and this one was no better. Im guessing they just grabbed some random marketing undergrad and said hey make a tv commercial for LSU

I am tired of this "love purple, live gold" b.s.
I get the "live gold" part.
How the hell do you "love purple." I mean Prince is cool, and Spielberg made a damn good movie with purple in the title, but what does this slogan even mean?
We need to come up with a new slogan and a less cheesy presentation if this is going national.
At least one recruitment tool is going to do well tomorrow... our football team.

That is an awful attempt at marketing the school. The other SEC schools have much better commercials than that. It looks like they tried to spend the lest amount of money on the commercial that they could.
