Did anyone go to any games last night and see someone impressive?

Elijah McGuire from Vandebilt Catholic. He had 2 very long TD runs. You give that dude one small opening to run through and he can take it to the house on any given play.

Calvary has their very talented RB back full speed this year after an injury held him up last year. He was the best RB I saw last year and may be the best sr in the state this year

Went back home for the Spain Park and Noxubee County (MS) game last night.
SPs Dbs Chris Humes and Devon Brown looked awesome. Devon "Dee" is commited to UAB but hes probly gonna get offered by Arkansas soon, and Chris has UK, State, and UGA offers and a Bama offer that will be on the way if his grades look good.
SP also has a junior WR commited to Clemson, Drake Grisham, and he had a awesome TD on a screen pass for a about 50 yards in which he cut across the field and made about 4 or 5 guys miss

Watched Evangel & Farmerville on my laptop from the Jam at the Joe (LaTech) last night.
Evangel won 35-0 but didn't look good on the offensive side of the ball until the second half. The only points they got in the first half were two TD's on a blocked field goal that was returned all the way and a kickoff return. Dwight Gatlin, a DB returned the kickoff.
Evangel's receivers dropped several passes that would have made it more one sided.
Farmerville will be tough for anybody to run on with a couple of near 300 pound tree stumps in the middle of their line. Trae Ford is one of them. I never caught the other guy's name.
They have some good skill guys but I don't see them having much of a passing game unless they set it up by running the ball.
They opened the game with two 80 yard drives but couldn't score from inside the twenty.
Vece Braggs, their quarterback, looks like the best player on the team. He had several long runs on both planned and improvised plays. Anyone who has been around Farmerville football for the last 35-40 years knows the Braggs name and associates it with spectacular athletes.
Farmerville junior running back, J.T. Brown, had a 61 yard run.

How many of the games did you watch? The heat was unreal, with turf temps in the 170s during midday and near 150 up to 20 feet above the turf... Did you happen to see the RB from Calvary I mentioned earlier?

I dont think there is any way of knowing that. But Jalen is quicker, and Chris is bigger

I had no idea the games were available online until the start of the Evangel/Farmerville game. I was looking for the Farmerville radio broadcast of the game & opened the viewer.
It was a really bad shot with a single camera that didn't get moved to where the play occurred quite a few times. The "box" they were showing it in was only about four" by 6" when you clicked on "full screen".
Wish I had known all of the games were being broadcast there but I was happy to catch any of it.
I am really worried about Farmerville going to 3A. In the 70's going from 2A to 3A had a horrendous effect on the program. The program wasn't nearly as successful when that move up occurred but it was a winning program. We went from 7-3 my junior year to 3-7 my senior year. The class after I graduated went 1-9. They didn't have all of the kids from Bernice and Downsville back then and had no business playing in a district with Wossman, Richwood, Winsborough and some other much larger schools.
Hopefully, with the influx from the schools that were closed, they have enough depth to hang with Carroll, Richwood, Rayville and Madison.

West St John vs Riverside Fiest held out
East ST JOHN VS SCC ESJ QB looked sharp running and Passing, Maybe a good one for aTm.

I went to the Bayou Jamb in Monroe.
Saw some kid by the name of John Diarse should be one of the top recruits in Louisiana next year.
West Monroe is supposed to have a sophomore RB, Steve Jones, could be a good one.
