I know, I know another Jefferson praise thread however this tidbit from Mascona's practice report this morning made me take a step back considering he's been heralding Mett as the best passer.

quote:

Jordan Jefferson continues to throw with accuracy and is the most impressive of any of the passers.

Heres the full report

On another note I can't wait to watch Landry on the field!

quote:

Jarvis Landry was taking part in every drill with the WRs and was wearing helmet, shoulder pads and shorts. He was cutting, leaping and running fill speed—oh, and catching everything thrown remotely close to him. He is going to be a special WR.

quote:

Spencer Ware and Terrance Magee were back with the RBs and both were a full “go” and NOT in “no contact” jerseys.

quote:

La’El Collins is out with what is being rumored as a concussion. Will Blackwell was out as well with Josh Williford continuing to work in his place at RG.

They just like to give some of the players a break. Keep them fresh.

I'm more excited to hear Ware and Magee are OK.

If it takes that long. They showed a clip of from his first day out there this week and he was already making one-handed leaping grabs. Kid's going to be special.

Both will be more than fine come September. Everything so far is minor.

Players missing practices here and there or a few in a row is very normal for fall camp.

I've said all along that Landry will be pretty awesome.. This year. Looking forward to seeing him play.

Someone posted in another thread that Will's family said it's a minor knee twist and they're just holding him out as precaution.

Oh, I would bet a year ban from this site that the short side option will be seen this year

quote:

Kevin Minter blew by James Stampley.  In fact, Stampley lost each time he did the drill, causing Frank Wilson to about lose his mind.  Considering the role of a FB is as a blocker in the offense, don’t expect to see much of Stampley.

Kenny Hilliard might just be the FB this year
