Pancake Jones that not the correct name. Clevand pancake Thomas is the ULL signee and Damion Jones is the 6'8 jr post player.

I forgot, you're a basketball scout.
Are you?
It isn't hard to find video of Cousins on the internet.

I am definitely no scout.
I just think it is amusing that you suggest LSU should recruit an unranked, 6-10 post with an average offer sheet. When it comes out that they are recruiting a different unranked 6-10 post with an average offer sheet, you immediately call him a scrub.
I don't know how good either of them are and neither do you. You've looked at a few YouTube videos and some offer lists (which may not be accurate) and declared who you think is the better prospect.

And for reasons I enumerated.
This is a staff which though Aaron Dotson, Eddie Ludwig, Jalen Courtney and Matt Derenbecker were SEC-quality players and that Andre Stringer could play point guard.
I think it's prudent not to take their player evaluations on faith.
Would you not agree that LSU needs somebody with some girth in the post in this signing class? Did you not yourself say that if Harris was the only post signee you would not be happy?
Not sure where the animus comes from.

I have no problem with LSU signing a project in the post, and have said so many times.
The problem would occur if the project were the only signee.

Post players coming available after firings
I'm not saying LSU will be involved with any of these players, but this is just an example of how many players come available in the spring when coaches start getting fired. There will be more firings over the next week or so.
Trent Johnson has gotten involved with these types of players before. I wouldn't be opposed to them signing one of the "grad school transfer" players that have gotten popular over the past few years. They are eligible immediately, and their scholarship opens right back up.

Hopefully some of these guys open up their recruitment and TJ can get on them.

Does anyone know if Hammink will take visits since he is in Europe? Maybe wait till the summer? Just wondering how it works for Euro players.

So what is the best we could do?
Morgan, Hammink, Coleman and Pelle?
We have 11 on scholarship. Lose three, add 3-4 to put us at 12-13 on scholarship in 2012?

And are 2 under now, which leaves 5 open for next year, with no attrition.
May or may not sign them all. Could leave some open for next year. We only have two seniors for next year.

So, we may lose Morgan? Do it, BOS. I can get over it.

He was born in Baton Rouge and I'm sure he's been back with his dad. Hope that helps us, but I'm in a weird spot. I don't want to lose Morgan and Hammink, but I would also like to see a new coach.

Why is that in a wierd spot? You're not making the decision. I think it's wierd that you think you're in a wierd spot. You act like you have some kind of tough decision to make.

Ole Miss picked up two commitments from junior college players, including former Alabama power forward Jason Carter of Chipola. The other is guard Marshall Henderson, of South Plains (Tx), who has played previously at Utah and Texas Tech.
It is unclear the level of LSU's interest was in Carter after he missed most of the season with a knee injury. Rivals reported Carter as having an offer from LSU in the fall, but no news ever surfaced about LSU's interest after the injury. His current Rivals bio does not list an LSU offer or interest.
Carter said after his commitment to Ole Miss that the Rebels were his number 2 choice out of high school and he never seriously considered anyone else.
