Guess this means that Vandy is the only school without a major violation since 1987.
Make it 14 total for the SEC since 1987.
Guess this guy wrote this article a few weeks to soon.

LSU has had a major violation go unreported over the years just like every other school in the SEC

Every violation is major - maybe not so much for the penalty but because if you repeat while on the probation period - God have mercy...

The offense was major, but penalty wasn't major because there was no loss of institutional control. We fired the guy, dropped the player before he played and self reported and self penalized. We screwed up, but took immediate corrective action and didn't cover it up.
But yeah, Vandy is the only clean program now.

The real crime was hiring that hack job DJ McCarthy in the first place. He's been a total fraud his whole career and didn't deserve to be coaching at the Pee Wee level. I hope Les Miles learned his lesson and will continue to hire only qualified candidates.
