Name a Beer that is Different than its Name

Shiner Hefeweizen - This one should be called Shiner Unfiltered Wheat since it uses honey and orange zest in the brew.
Abita Amber - A traditional Amber is an ale, this one is a Lager (Which I actually prefer)
Any others? Is Shiner Bock an actual Bock beer?

IDK but I do enjoy the hell out of it.

Yeah, I think so.

There is such thing as an Amber Lager and an Amber Ale. Abita Amber is neither, though.
Dos Equis Amber Lager is in the same boat, it's a Vienna Style lager, the guy who started it in Mexico was German-born.

Both actually exist. There is "American Amber Ale" (which is really just a red ale); and there is a category called "European Amber Lager" (which has two styles, oktoberfest and vienna lager).
ETA: Forgot the "Amber Hybrid Category".
Basically, "Amber" is a catch-all name for many beer styles.

Shiner Hefeweizen is brewed with orange and lemon peels and honey. Shiner Hefeweizen is an unfiltered classic Bavarian Wheat beer and is the only beer brewed that is not pasteurized.

My bad, I really thought it was.

Why are we caught up on the fact that shiner adds stuff to their hefe? It's not like we follow any other European name rules about booze. A kolsch is only legally made in koln Germany but yet breweries make them all the time. Champagne is only champagne in northern France yet we call sparkling wine made here champagne. Why the ball busting on the name connected exactly to the style ?

I've noticed that hefe fans seem to have more of a problem with this than other beers. I'm not that big into wheat beers so i don't care what they do to it as long as it tastes good.
