Cooking Chicken Sausage

I'm sure it's simple, but I've never had it before. I assume boil it for a while and finish browning in a skillet with a little oil? Finish on the grill? Just boil it?
Little help, please.

Boil? NO, NO, NO. Gently warm in water to about the point where water vapor is being produced, then grill.

Grill it or warm it and then stick under the broiler.
Boiled sausage??

I'd put the sausages in a non stick skillet with a little olive oil and brown them on med-high fire.. Once browned, I'd add sliced bell peppers, onions and garlic and about a half cup of water and cover the pot, reduce the fire to low and let em sautee for about 20-25 minutes.
I'd serve with angel hair pasta and pesto or alfredo sauce.

I read it on the internet so it must be true. I'd rather stick to grilling. Indirect heat for 15 minutes or so I assume.

don't go by time, go by look and sound. with sausage, you can usually hear when its ready, whenever you can hear the internal juices starting to pop, you know its about ready

Inside....warm in skilled filled with water halfway up the sausage, but don't allow to boil. Pour out water and brown to finish.
Best way...outside...indirect heat on grill until they're slightly brown on outside and sizzling.
That's how I cook most grilling sausage, including brats...but just use beer instead of water, then indirect heat on the grill.

If you have never had boiled sausage you have never had a meal in a South Louisiana black families house. Nothing new about it.
And from time to time I do it. And yes I should say simmered sausage in lieu of boiled.
