How is the cooking area on the biggest Kamado Joe? One of my biggest concerns is that it seems like the space is just too small........

The KJ has enough room for 8 to 10 good size hamburgers in a batch. As far as smoking meets. Should be able to do 18 lbs of brisket at a time 4 or 5 racks of ribs, or 2 - 3 8 lb pork shoulders at a time. Bottom line if you are grilling you can feed 8 with one batch, if you are smoking meets at least 2 to 3 times as many people.
