The more I hear about the progress of LSU senior quarterback Jordan Jefferson during the spring under the tutelage of new offensive coordinator Steve Kragthorpe, the more it looks as if the former Tulsa head coach is in a no-lose situation. If Jefferson falters, he will finish his college career looking like a bust. If Jefferson improves, Kragthorpe will look like a kingmaker."

Yep. Krags won't really be judged objectively for another couple of seasons.

If the spring game is any indication of his improvement, then he won't be famous for improving this QB. But that was only a few weeks, let's hope.

Krags will have a couple months with Jefferson. His effect will be minimal. You’ll see his ability to develop a QB with Mettenberger.

I just watched the Vandy game, and saw JJ chunk one up for grabs in the endzone while it was still a one possession game. I am not so sure that ANYONE can get our guys (jj and jl) to make better decisions.
3 points was huge there...we got zero. That is why folks are down on JJ alot of time. Here is the kicker, he is still the best choice up until this point in time.
