I know I know. Food and drink board. But those guys are slow. I'm ready to get the OT opinion on their favorite. I have a few, but I wanna try something different.

Instead of a marinade, Tony's as a rub...is great.

I hope you don't marinade anything but cheap cuts..
But for a marinade I like to make my own. I don't know exactly the portions to give a real recipe, but I use worchestershire sauce, soy sauce, EVOO, basil, Rudy's Rub, and Slap ya Momma. Talk about good.

A good quality steak doesn't need 7 different seasonings and a marinade. But if that's how you like it, knock yourself out. I use sea salt and cracked black pepper. Sear it with the coals all the way up then move it to the back away from the coals to let it finish slowly.

I waited too long to find good cuts. So marinade or rub is a must.

Are you replying to me or OP? Because I clearly stated that if it's not a good cut of meat that's what I'll use. If it's a good cut of meat I may throw some ton'y or slap ya momma on top, if that. Sometimes I don't put anything at all.

Don't over cook it. And get a good cut of meat.
But, if you must, here in Alabama, a lot of folks use Dale's sauce.
