Leaving Houma in an hour and headed back to Baton Rouge. Are there any good seafood markets along the way?

If you are in Houma, then you need to shop there mon frere. Get thyself to the docks around Pointe Au Chien, Dulac, Cocodrie.

I used to go to Big Mama's in Napoleonville on HWY 1. They changed owners since the last time I've been there.

There are not "seafood markets" in Houma that I know of other than in Rouse's on St. Charles. You can drive down the bayou to buy shrimp and crabs. Most docks are located at the end of the road in Cocodrie, Dularge or Dulac. Crabs are best this time of year. I use a crabber down Bayou Dularge Road. I don't have his number, but he has signs up all over 311.
