If LSU is a BCS contender and JJ starts every game, he will be in the Heisman race. I don't see why people don't get this. Maybe too many years watching JJ has made it seem impossible. Just look at some past Heisman winners, you don't even have to be that good to win... Crouch, White, Smith, the list goes on.
So Mauck and Flynn were Heisman contenders? Spencer Ware is more likely to be a Heisman contender this year than JJ in this offense. LSU will run the ball far too much for JJ to have any chance regardless of how great he plays.

Low said off the radar. That means sonar.

No. I cannot. I will not.

It's easy to get behind a winner. If JJ performs well, he will get support.
I just dread the "we want Mett" chants if JJ has a bad series.

heisman....
I just hope he can throw the ball to the receivers close enough for them to have a chance to catch it and not in the ground.....

I would love for JJ to have a Andrew Luck type year throwing the ball and make the rant meltdown
Pretty sure that wouldn't cause a Rant meltdown.

i back JJ more than most i guess, but the heisman is far fetched.
i'd put my $ on ware if anyone on the team was gonna take the heisman.
LSU is running game and D, that's the formula.

Not a chance. If he starts blaming himself and not others for his failures, maybe. But he has established himself as inconsistent. I hope I am wrong.
Posted on 6/13/11 at 9:15 pm to blackjackjackson
Absolutely. He can go from suck to best in the nation.
Bless his heart.
