Agreed. I just found myself not caring. And that is not the fault of the actors. They did a great job with what they were given.

Yeah it's cool to each their own. I liked it on two levels one I love mysteries and two it was a good coming of age movie. It illustrates how sometimes if you're not careful your family can trap you into a life not of your choosing. Made for a very good companion piece along with Animal Kingdom which I saw back to back one night.


My favorite 2010 movie was Kick-arse.
