it will be under water, but no one is sure how much water. what im hearing and in the link i posted earlier, 2.5 feet raise over this weekend into tomorrow afternoon. i have cousins that live down old river in mansura that were told to evacuate yesterday.

the thing about old river is people are going to have to leave before the water even comes close to getting into homes because the road will go under water at two places. water only needs to come up i'd say around 5 feet to go over the road where it turns from gravels into pavement past the landing. cleco will probably cut the power sometime later this week right before that happens. water hasn't come up much if at all over night but that could change by tonight.
