GET OVER IT.

shite's gonna flood whether i go look at it and take a picture or not.

Anyone in need of help, i'll help. And it sucks that people are going to be affected so horribly, but that doesn't mean i can't take a picture .... or go see the river. Nature can be cool .... and the river won't always be this high.

Cheers.

If someone was taking a pic of my flooded house or property I would be upset, but not the opening of the spillways. That's just me.

I don't think one person on this board has said that.

I felt like a zoo animal at the time but could understand the morbid curiousity.

I don't understand why people wouldn't want to see how high the river is. I pass over it everyday and had planned on checking it out this w/e but now I can't.

Really want to go out there, but I'm playing in a golf tournament (so but ). Maybe grabs some pics and/or video and put them up on here for us who can't go? I definitely wanted to go, it's something we may never see again.

Noone will be seeing the Morganza opening tomorrow other than on television folks. They will have this section of LA 1 VERY much closed off to the public for safety concerns. Only those with a special pass are allowed to pass the closure for the viewing. Law enforcement will be in place all around to make sure this happens.
