I'm guessing you putting Michigan behind Wisconsin
probably the same reaction you would have if someone ranked UT behind UGA... which is maybe a stronger argument considering UGA has a better recruiting base

I thought you were making an overall program list, cause if you were it would be:
1a. OSU
1b. Michigan
3. PSU
4. NU
1a. OSU
1b. Michigan
3. PSU
4. NU

There's a much wider gap between Michigan and Wisconsin these past few years, than there has been between UGA and UT.

More of a list detailing each programs potential over the next 3-4 years.

Then I withdraw my Still think Um has more potential then both NU and Wisco in the next 4 years though.

Same up north sentiment during the beginning of the RR era. That turned out well.

I'm not sure. From a pure roster standpoint, Michigan's rebuilding job makes Dooley's look like a cake walk.
The fact that they're in the big 10 though, should allow them to get back quicker.

PSU is going to be garbage. this next few years Wiscy and Nebraska i think will be the big boys and tOSU if they can figure this shite out and manage in the meantime. UM i think has a little bit to get back into the groove

Not from me. I knew from day 1 he was gonna be a failure.

short term i agree with you wiscy > michigan
long term I think michigan is still probably a better job... I'm not sure RE: Nebraska... they have recruited Texas in the past and will probably have to start working Illinois and Ohio now... that will probably cause them to down tick a little IMO (until they have established relationships with high school coaches around Big 10 country)

Nebraska has more history than Penn State.

history is massively over-rated by most fans IMO... what matters to kids when they are being recruited is whether they like the coaches and whether they think they can win there
Tulane and Ole Miss have more history than a lot of schools that recruit better than them

Agree. I'm just responding to Trey's post the Penn State is a better program historically than Nebraska

Nebraska is above PSU. Depending on your criteria, I think you could put OSU, Michigan, or Nebraska in the top spot.

Nebraska has more national titles between 1994 and 1997 than Penn State has in their entire history. Also, I'm not sure if there's a program in the country with more conference titles than Nebraska.

I'm not so sure about that. Rich Rod's job when he took over, maybe, but I'm not sure now. It's a lot easier when your biggest rivals aren't arguably the best two programs in the country with arguably the two best coaches.

Conference Titles:
Nebraska - 43
Michigan - 42
USC - 38
Ohio State - 37
Those are the highest I found.
ETA: Oklahoma - 43 Conference titles

My response is from the roster point, I did say they would have an easier time getting back due to the conference they play in but......
Did you watch Michigan play defense this past year? If we swapped our defense for Michigan's this past season we win 3 games max.
Memphis, Vanderbilt, UT Martin.
Michigan has some nice pieces on offense, but so do we.

I think Nebraska has 46 per cfb datawarehouse.
edit: 3 were prior to 1900 and in some conference that I've never heard of.
