Is it me or does it look like the ball comes off their bat way faster then off our bats? maybe im wrong but they have had some hits where they barely swing it goes to out field with some zip our guys are swinging hard and the ball comes off way slower...

That's because they're cheating...they're using different bats. Or maybe it's because they're making better contact.

Not just you....Florida makes much better contact than we do. Florida's two strike approach is to shorten up and hit a line drive back up the middle.
LSU's approach doesn't change regardless of the count....free swingers

I wasnt really implying that they were cheating just saying that even on horrible swings the ball flys off their bats i was just wondering if they use different bats... ive seen our guys make contact on the sweet spot and it didnt come off as hard as the few ugly swings that came off the florida bats.. On a few hits i seen florida get no wheres near the sweat spot and the ball just trampoline off the bat.. I was just thinking we need those bats.

Opposing pitchers have a lot to do with it as well as a batter's approach at the plate. As the above poster said, UF's approach looks better when they get behind in the count.
