The last 2 basketball games have been nothing short of a total embarrassment for the LSU Basketball program. At least some of the players are on record as being very disappointed. I for one as a fan can tolerate losing during a rebuilding process. But the KY and Ole Miss games were down right sad in respect to being competitive. It was the worst exhibition of basketball I've seen from an LSU team EVER. And I've been watching since the Pistol days.

At least be frickin' competitive.

We don't blow anybody out, even UT Martin who lost to OSU 100-40 played us within 3. Game will be close tomorrow night.

We'll see tommorrow night and Saturday......any more displays like the last two and drastic changes will have to be made.

Perhaps we will get an e-mail from alleva telling us that all is well.

Anyone have an idea how many basketball season ticket holders we have?

Hell... Tenn will win by 25-30. I'm just glad we're not playing the Lady Vols tomorrow night as they would really beat the hell out of us.

I am one, homestly I dont think there are many. Its the nature of the beast, people will not fill the stands until the Tigers start racking up some W's! I hope Trent can turn this thing around. I like him, I have faith in him.

The players should be upset. They have every reason to be.

The SEC is a horrific basketball conference. The few games I watched this season looked worse and dirtier than watching an intramural game between two dorm room teams. I've got better things to do.

Aside from the first sentence, I completley agree with you. The games are terrible, the talent is lackluster, and the teams are playing at a very low level compared to the SEC teams of the last few years.

It is actually boring to watch some of these games in the SEC, no fun.

As for Kentucky, they are pitiful to watch, imo. They have so much freaking talent but they have a coach that does not teach kids how to play together. He teaches them how to win regualr season games by a lot of points and lose in March. I realize that I am on a tangent here but I am mad about how Calipari coaches. The man had five players drafted in the first round of the NBA draft last year. HOW DO YOU NOT WIN A TITLE WITH ALL THAT TALENT? I blame the coach on that one, just like this years team...it is all about the coach. I am done, lol

never said it wasn't exception to the rule this year....but to say they never play any good ball literally the day after the game....just makes one look ignorant.

So far I have heard from Derenbecker, Stringer and White regarding the performance in the last 2 games.

Have guys like Bass, Warren, and Green put in their 0.02¢?

I wouldn't mind hearing what some of our upperclassmen have to say.

Did you watch the Arkansas vs. Auburn game later? I'd rather watch an AND 1 game with some illiterate baffoon screaming in my ear for three hours.

Don't be a bunch of Negitators about Alleva, after all LSU went to the big dance a couple of years ago. The negitators were all over him about Les little more than a year ago and Les has proven all of the Negitators wrong and now has a SEVEN YEAR CONTRACT.Give our BB team time and all will be good, just as our FB team is on firm ground for the next 7 years. UT Martin lost 79-56 to LSU. And they only lost 68-62 to Tennessee. So does that mean LSU blows out the Vols?

Agreed.

When LSU won the reg season SEC in 2008-9 with only 2 losses, the PMAC didnt have many in addendance until late Jan/early Feb. That 10 pt home loss to Xavier hurt too. But we finished 14-2 and going into SEC play were 8-2 not counting the LSU invite and preseason.

LSU basketball following isnt what it used to be. Win and the seats will sell.

Having a dynamic player like Stromile, Marcus Thornton, Tyrus, etc. helps too.
