With that being said, Love might be the most well-rounded player in the NBA.

That's a loaded discussion worthy of another thread. I think it is fair to say that Love can do things those 3 can't do, and vice versa.

Just in terms of big men...who is the last one to have his skill set? Most bigs can't shoot 3's/FT's like Love. The dude is a 44% 3 point shooter!

That's not even remotely true in the NBA.

In today's NBA it is hard to be successful if you don't have that guy you can count on to score in crunch time. That would be Griffin

that would be love more than griffen

Haven't stated my case in the discussion but one thing to remember is that super elite athleticism only lasts so long. Right now Griffin's game is predicated on his pretty much unparalleled athleticism - if he can improve on his skills, which i think he will, he will be out of this world.

Currently love is more of a stay close to the floor type player that relies on his skills. I think Blake Griffin will have more elite years and be paid more money for these elite years. I also believe that love will play for more years at an incredibly high level for prob 3-5 years after Griffin has tapered off..

Griffin.

Love is a better player now, but Griffin's ceiling is higher AND he will sell the frick out of some tickets and merchandise

If I'm going for the Laker model (big names sell tix & merchandise) I'd go with Blake, obviously.

I prefer the Spurs model (build a team around one great, skilled player who gets "it" with more good, skilled players who get "it") I'd go with Love.
