Les and LSU

I will be very surprised if LSU loses Les. The talent level here is way above Michigan. He has a winning program, has his pick of all the talent in the state. Why would he want to go into the gutter, which is what Michigan has become. It is not the program it use to be. A lot of coaches have made the mistake of going somewhere else and have not been successful.

The talent level is way better but the competition is much easier. Les could turn Michigan around very fast. He is a great recruiter and good players coach. He leaves if the money is right and his heart is in it.

FWIW I have heard he and Lloyd Carr don't like each other and that was one of the reasons he stayed in 07. If Carr is heavily involved in the program I think that barrier remains intact.
