yes but there's a perfect time for said coaches to leave when it won't upset anyone.

Topwater needs to understand that when a university fires their head coach(or when a coach steps down or leaves for another school), most of the time the folks doing the hiring for the university are going to look at head coaches at other universities first to replace that coach and then make offers. Thus the carousel sets in motion. It's just the way it is. It happens every offseason and usually starts in early december and ends in late january.

what have i stated that would make you think i need to understand that?

When?

Sometimes the timing of the coach leaving depends on when another university fires their coach and when they make contact with his agent and that is out of the coach's control.

Your bitching about "bailing", that if you understood it you would know that the career decisions these coaches make are nothing against the kids.

are you that stupid? I said that is the most likely perception the players have when the coach is leaving. Have you ever heard of the players being happy that their coach left for greener pastures at the time said coach leaves....not at a later date?

Tell me how I am "bitching" about it when I have stated over and over that I have no problem with the coaches going with better offers?

But, the way you were talking about it earlier in the thread suggested to me that you were outraged at "bailing".

Don't really care. What I'm telling you is that they'll get over it in time.

Early on in the thread your posts suggested to me that you were on the verge of a nervous breakdown and I didn't know if you were going to be okay. I was just trying to calm you.

not outraged at all my point was i can see why some universities don't allow for closure because the players and university are po'd that the coach bailed on them.....its human nature to get mad and angry before thinking logically.

The golf coach is hunting quail at T. Boone Pickens ranch and then becomes the athletic director. The golf coach?

He put that school on the athletic map and did more financially for that school than any other coach in OSU history ...

Les is a class act. I've questioned things he's done at LSU, you know time management and all, but he really is a good coach.

I live in the area and listen to the Sports Animal everyday. This is the general consensus up here. I think Jim Trayber picked LSU over just about everyone, all the while criticizing the offense.

Him and Al Unshbech have sent a few jokes his way, but it's always lite and comes with the "this guy wins and people play for him."

No hard feelings really.
