No. It shows two things:

1. He is loyal to a fault
2. He may be able to recruit players, but apparently, can no longer recruit coaches

Unfortunately, no. I have been a supporter of Leslie since the beginning, but if he really keeps GC, they both need to hit the road.

Lou Tepper was the end of Denardo and Gary Crowton will be the end of Les Miles. I would love to see Les stay, but Gary and Studrawa need to leave.

I'll be very disappointed. If things go south next year I might go negative.

BUT is it really GC's fault. Miles stated emphatically after the Ole Miss game, "every offensive play is approved by me before we run it". Did he lie to take blame off of his OC? If he did, then yes GC needs to go.

IF the staff is realigned and Crowton is demoted to coaching QBs only, and Gonzo is promoted to coordinator maybe that's a change that has some promise (but I admit, not much).

I support my coach and my team. However, retaining Crowton after the past two years means Miles is "All In" for 2011. That's a big gamble to take with a $500 million dollar football program. I hope Mile's stubborness isn't writing checks that the team can't cash next year....

Oh how much fun the NegaTigers would have if Miles got rid of Crowton...I can hear them next year...

"Why did he get rid of Crowton? Jefferson had 4 years in the system and Lee had 5. To bring in a new offensive coordinator was so dumb...for real..and you can run and tell that homeboy. FIRE LES...I don't care that we are 11-1...he has to GO!"

You would have to be an absolute retard to even conceive such a notion. I think the majority of LSU fans would be extremely disappointed in Miles if Crowton comes back.
