The point is, your fans try to say we haven't played anyone, however, the average strength of everyteam we've played far supercedes the average strength of the teams you've played thus far this year. That is the point. The only thing your fans really have to be excited about right now at this point are three things:
1. Media Hype (they love teams with 1 standout player, its an easier story)
2. Homefield Advantage (and all the implicits that come along with it ex: last week)
3. You've made it this high in the rankings. Pretty impressive. You picked up a one year wonder boy who'll gladly ditch that team for the NFL as soon as this year is over. He's gotten your school some attention... maybe you'll start pulling recruits over alabama and developing into a real program again. At least at the end of the year, you can look back and say how amazing it was to be in the national spotlight. For about a week.
