Just saw that...who's the lady in the segment? The national media is in a feeding frenzy over all of this and our fans don't help it one bit.....
Looking forward to tonight and I have a good feeling.....

How many rants wanted to begin this thread?? Seriously, we need a win and good offensive play in a worst way! I suspect players are watching this as well sense we play later today. Get out there and kick butt and shut down this self-inflicted crap!

Leslie is truly an embarrassment for LSU- positigahs point out his record and great winning percentage, but once you get past that, everyone who knows college football talks about Leslie being a lucky yet incompetent idiot who cannot articulate a string of meaningful words together.

Is any exposure good exposure.

Would you be happy with a coach that won 10 to 15% less games but did not have clock issues? Style points mean nothing. For years Tiger fans including me have said after the season "we were 9 points from being the SEC champs" or "3 plays from being in the Sugar Bowl" Have a beer...these are the good times!

1.) Yes, Les has issues with the clock
2.) The "story" is about the "fans" reaction and reccomendations for Les in dealing with this...
This wasn't seen as "National News" until the fans (probably on here) kept beating the drums over it...
Everyone wanted to bring so much attention to how much they hate Les Miles, and now we finally have it...

Really? Do you not have broadcast or cable television?

BS...this was a nationally televised game and it was the lead on every sports highlight show that night, on a weekend when you had numerous bigtime matchups....it was/is "National News" because it was another in a series of big blunders by Les, even if you dont want to accept that

absolutly.. I agree that SEVEN days ago, that it was a big story... and yes it was a stupid blunder... The fact that Tennessee made a blunder and gave away the game in the face of how stupid LSU looked all clueless has gotten pretty much a wash over the week.. all because of who is griping and how loud they are about it.
But if you don't think that the "Headlines" aren't internet driven.. and that ESPN doesn't focus on things that the people just keep blogging and murmuring about... then you are simple.
eta: do you think this story even happens if all they have to say is, "LSU almost lost that game last week due to poor clock management again, and we're in Baton Rouge talking to some people who say that 'we're trying to move on and focus on the rest of this season, because we've got a lot of special players on this team, and we support them.'"

Well, you know if it wasn't the first time this happened, it would have been over on Wednesday. But lightening does strike twice sometimes. I think Les is doing this on purpose. You notice how he doesn't clap with his fingers together. I think he broke one of his fingers clapping before.
