A few observations from west Texas:

If LSU beats Fla. this weekend, Coach Miles will be looked upon as a good coach, even though his coaching ability will not have changed in one weeks time.

Coach Miles should get as much credit for special teams and our defense as he gets blame for our offense.

Coach Miles doesn't embarass me as much as the fans leaving games in the third quarter.

Coach Miles doesn't embarass me as much as the pictures of the trash left behind on campus after games.

Coach Miles has treated and respected LSU much more than the fan base has treated and respected him.

LSU is 5-0 and I have a "desire and want" to enjoy this football season. LSU will not play in Nat Champ game every year. I refuse to be miserable every year they do not play in it.

Had to get a few things off my chest. Living out here I must read websites to keep up with LSU. What I would give to be able to tailgate and attend football games at LSU. It is a privelege, not a right. ENJOY IT!!

With the lack of qb play and qb recruiting when do you think they will play in a national championship again

You don't attend games, but yet you are critical of those that do.

You don't coach college football, yet you criticize one that does.

So you are more embarassed that fans leave a game early than what the team did at the end of the Tenn game?

For 30 years I have told A&M, UT and TT fans what an experience it is to go to an LSU game. Now they ask me why the stands empty and people boo the players/coaches. You tell me, what do I tell them?

Tell them that we have a higher standards and expectations of our coaches...

If Mack Brown had a potential meltdown down vs a 16 point dog...what would the teasips do?

tell the A&M folks that the reason why they are still in the Big XII - 2....is because they have no idea what modern excellence in football is...LSU fans do..therefore our expectations are higher.

Tell the Tech folks that the reason they think the clock management is okay is because the fumes from the cowshit in Lubbock has fried their brains...

That is not not fair... I would love to attend LSU games, but can't afford it. Just because you have the privledge to go doesn't mean you can leave early.
I also live in TX and Tell UT and A&M fans about that atmosphere LSU, but is almost impossable to defend when fans leave so early.

I think most people do enjoy the LSU game day atmosphere. You may be confusing the justified critiquing of a blundering head coach as people being miserable.

You do realize that as bad as Florida is this year, they're are still tons better than any of the 5 teams that we've beaten so far this season.

This is what aggravates me about this site. I get people criticizing coaching moves, wins/losses, player issues, etc. But that's not what has been going on. Posters here attack the man left and right. A man that obviously loves his players and the University. A man that has done nothing to garner these types of attacks.

Mack Brown had a clock manangement "meltdown" in Big 12 champ game against NEB last year that could have cost them Nat Champ. I did not hear anyone call him a dumbass and want him fired.

Tell them if they watched the games they would know why people are booing. Why they leave in my opinion is blown out of proportion. People have always done this and the reason for it you would have to ask the fans who leave. Some may want to get home and rest up before going to the Saints game and don't want to lose sleep if the game is not worth staying for, may have kids at home with babysitter, or don't want to be stuck in traffic. Coach on fans leaving early?
(Paraphrased)
Our players enjoy the support of the great tiger fans?

If he said it like our fan would:
I wish they would stay their drunk asses home and cook shite there, if thats all the support they have for kids that have been busting their asses since they got to campus!

If Miles replied like our fans:

Exactly how many number one rated recruiting classes have you produced? Please shut your f%$&%@g pie hole as it is obvious you don't not know that Both JJ and JL were highly sought after QBs

Just tell them we would like for our $4,000,000 per year coach to learn from his mistakes and demonstrate better clock management. That's a start.
