After 4 games, Patrick Peterson has

accounted for more yardage than Jefferson has thrown for
If you include the rushing stats JJ edges out Peterson by about 20 yards. If you count interception return yardage Peterson has more total yards.
That's 79 passing attempts and 42 rushing attempts that have combined for less yardage than Peterson has accumulated on special teams and defense on just 22 touches. And you have to figure a few of those were for almost zero gain when the coverage was good and he had to scamper out of bounds.
Any of you JJ defenders out there starting to get just how bad this actually is yet?

Guess no one else thinks it's slightly humorous that Patrick Peterson has accounted for more offense than Jordan Jefferson

I don't think there's any left.

Oh there are a few left
You hear them saying that Lee is the same guy from 08 and he'll start throwing pick 6s and we'll want JJ back.

I prefer to look at it this way.
Plan A is not working. Plan A has not worked for 1 year + 4 games.
We should try plan B.

It's simple
Step 1: Start Lee
Step 2: Don't run the option with Lee
Step 3: Incorporate RS running the wildcat in to supplement the offense so as to not put as much pressure on Lee.
That game plan would give this team a chance to compete for the SEC

well plan B did not work for 1 year + 2 games as well, so

Lee looks like he's in much better shape and we know he has an arm and a quick release. I'd like to see what he can do. I can't imagine as a junior he is as bad as he was as a freshman. And as a freshman he was much better than JJ is now.

But plan B is a year and a half old and it may have been rewritten.

i want to see what lee can do also, just to see
it may be la tech all over again, and then we can all kill ourselves

I think the whole team was flat for that game though
I think Lee at home against Tenn would do well

Plan B was 2 years ago. Plus, had Plan B had a decent defense, the results may have been different. We might not be having this conversation.

No it's not humorous in the least; it is tragic.
Despite the delusional insanity of some Tiger fan thinking a chance at a National Title should come around every year the reality is it doesn't.
Everything has to line up right, you have to be great AND lucky, you have to defeat the teams you should and the ones you shouldn't.
LSU has that opportunity in front of them and the fans need to appreciate it for what it is.
If Jordan can improve, or if JLee is the answer (not anything close to a given), AND if we can get some decent play calling along with a few breaks we could beat anybody.
The real humor (in a sadistic kind of way) is that fans like you posting disheartening garbage and those that boo actually think they are LSU Fans.

At this point, I'm ready to start Lee. I'd have him on a relatively short leash. If he doesn't get it, I'm ready to completely change our offense in much the same way that Oklahoma did when Troy Aikman went down. Let's put Russell Shepard in as QB and run an option oriented/Jamalle Holieway type option. Shepard can still throw the ball 10-15 a game - mainly longer passes off the option.
It can't be ANY worse than continuing the utter failure that is the Jordan Jefferson experiment.

one thing that really has my curiosity is if we'd get the false starts/illegal formations with Lee in the game...when I see those penalties from an offense that has been doing this for 3/4 years and a coach that gets paid 4 million dollars a year it really fricking chaps my arse
that is all

So 4-0 LSU playing UT at home would be the same as 2 loss LSU playing Tech a week after losing to Bama? Especially after 3 straight double digit passing efforts and 0 touchdowns in 14 quarters. Lee's insertion would be more likely to inspire the offense than last year when the entire team was flat. I know if I was one of the receivers I would welcome the change.
