This is pure opinion so fire away if you feel the need.

Since last Saturday, the focus both locally and nationally has been on the 2nd half of the NC game.. or at least the vast majority of it.

Here's the reverse (and opinion) - At some point this season, hopefully soon, the 1st half of the NC game is going to become significant when talking about this LSU team.

"you had to see the glimpse of the explosive potential".
"that first TD to Randle was a preview of the vertical passing attack"
"Montgomery and Nevis started showing this sack attack early in the NC game"
"Shepard gave us a taste against NC with that 50 yd TD but no one could have anticipated this avg / carry at this point in the season"

Call me crazy but I can already hear Jackwagon's like Herbstreit, James and Corso spewing some retro-spective love on the Tigers after the Florida W.

Don't be late to the love fest - get with it Tiger fans.

Good call to start a new thread. No way this would have fit in with the other first half thread

I hope you're right, and agree with you that how the season goes from here will have a lot to do with which half of the UNC game is most talked about later. If we go on to have a great season, the 2nd half (really the last 10 minutes) will be mostly forgotten. If we struggle, then the 1st half will be mostly forgotten.
