Without looking, do you know who the active leader in doubles is?

for the season.. or overall?

for the season my guess would be josh hamilton. that's the first guy i can think of.. maybe even miggy cabrera.

but as far as most doubles in their career that is active i have no idea.. pujols comes to mind. maybe even chipper jones.

nevermind on pujols.. he hasn't been in the league long enough. i wasn't thinking.. you gotta think of guys that have been in the league for forever.. like a chipper jones. how about pudge rodriguez? he's one of the better hitting catchers of all time. he is still going strong.

My guess would be Todd Helton. Pudge and Chipper are good guesses too.

Whoever it is I'm sure he's behind one of the greatest doubles hitters in the history of MLB, Craig Biggio.

I looked it up as well, he was already mentioned above. I did name two of the three active hits leaders, but not doubles.

These are atrocious guesses, Boo.

Todd Helton is probably right, though.

They were 10th and 11th... and both top 3 in active hits, so I beg to differ.

It's not Helton either.

Yeah. I just looked it up. Helton's #4. But of the top 10, he's hit them at the highest rate by far.

Edit...the OP said ACTIVE.

I'll guess something crazy like Scott Rolen.

There are some great names on the list

I'm kind of surprised Thome isn't higher up.

This post screams i made my guess in my previous post and then i looked it up and 2 minutes later i made this long winded diatribe to overexplain my guess to make it look like i actually knew the answer and causally throw out pudge.
