Thank you, thank you very much. Just win baby, I really don't care who the QB is.

I love short, fat, and slow guys running my offense.
Lee isn't THAT slow. JJ is still the clear starter in my mind, one scrimmage doesn't change that. But, Lee has more natural talent in his arm. Quick release, natural arm strength, and natural accuracy, he has it all, except for good (hell, not even a sub par) feel for the game.
You don't float throws into the flat if defenders are nearby. Lee isn't stupid, so I assume he has realized this by now. That leaves the reality that Lee has NO IDEA where defenders are on the field. That is a huge handicap.

I hate these threads - they turn into 50% of the fans bashing one player, and the other 50% the other player

Jarrett Lee has always been LSU's best QB when wearing The Green Jersey - one of the best who ever practiced at LSU.
But, he is afraid of contact. He is not the same player at all when facing live competition.
And, yes, Lee does quit.
After every interception that he has thrown, he has quit on the play. He has never even tried to tackle a defender who intercepted his pass - NEVER! He is probably afraid of being blocked by some defensive lineman.

Part of Lee's problem is stupid play calling from the coaches.
Don't think you start a freshmens career in the SEC by calling a low percentage out pattern against a great defense. Still pisses me off.

Did you see him in his first game against Auburn? Touchdown pass to C. Mitchell and got absolutely destroyed as he threw it. Shut the frick up. I don't like reading about you fricking people calling a player a pussy. That's seriously uncalled for.
I'm not going to insult Jefferson or question his bravery. That's chicken shite. I will say that (since rankings were brought up in this thread previously) that being ranked 112th in total offense should be unacceptable. This isn't a case for Lee, but it sure is a case for some changes to be made. It can be a change of OC or QB, I really don't care. Last year was very disappointing for all who watched, with the supposed talent we had at skill positions as well as our HC saying the OL was amazing pre-season.
I don't mind Jefferson as QB, but I do mind if we look so unorganized that we can't execute any sort of game plan and look prepared in doing it. We have zero identity. If the OL was struggling, then we should have adjusted mid-season. If Miles says (and I believe it was quoted) that Lee has closed the gap between Jefferson and himself, then great. I love competition and it should bring out the best in players. No position should be safe. They need to prove themselves in the UNC/Vandy games. If the starters can't get it done, then Lee deserves his shot if the coaches think he's ready.

LOL, can't let it go can you? Amazing they haven't renamed it the spring practice in your honor.

Makes me wonder if JLee wouldn't be more effective & poised if he didn't have to worry about being the starter & making a mistake
Thought the same thing about JJ.....

Which is why I'm wondering you would waste your time about JL's performance in yet another spring game. The QB performance in a spring game is the most worthless crap rave about.

This was the spring game!! I have learned by now that the spring game means NOTHING unless its about Ford. Ridley had an awesome spring game and was a solid #1 on the depth chart but apparantly has lost his job to Ford.

Miles needs not get so involved with they play calling, thats why for the most part jimbo left.JJ is a much better qb when he runs on a busted play or everyone is coverd, look at the starts of the 08 season...I like lee, he is a good qb and has an upside but not consistent, and is scared to get hit..if we get good qb play we go 11-1 or 10-2....p.s. the gumps will get there lumps this year, even though saban is the better coach...they come to us!!! crowton is a good offensive mind and has had great offensive teams, just let him call the plays!!

Plan and simple, dude's a pussy.
Jackass.
He got hurt in the 2008 OM game by standing in the pocket long enough to deliver a 12 yard pass to Lafell over the middle for a first down. Then Greg Hardy body slammed him.
