Tough, I'm going to go with Muschamp on the condition I can get a good OC.

Pelini. He has hc experience.

Mus. He is a far better recruiter.

Pelini but Muschamp is a close second

Pelini or Muschamp?
Give me two guys who haven't done shite as a coach over the one with SEC and NC any day.
Where do these idiot fans come from?

Pelini. And here is why: when he coached in the SEC, HE was the actual defensive coordinator, unlike Muschamp who was saban's co-coordinator. He is doing a fine job at ut but again, that ain't the SEC. Also, Pelini has the HC experience card, I get real nervous about hiring "up & coming" coordinators WITHOUT HC experience. The SEC is just too tough a gig for on the job training. I respect Muschamp & I think he has the potential to be a great HC but if Coach Miles left tomorrow & those were my two choices as of today, then I'd go with Pelini.

pretty good argument, had the question been who you wanted over miles...
but thanks for participating.

I can agree with most of that but Richt was hired as just an OC at Georgia and he has done well...I would take pelini because he was the one that kept the dicipline going and the guys looked up to him...wanted to be like him...thats important...I think the same with Muschamp...Pelini is just a few years ahead of him...both great football minds...I still think much of the reason miles was successful early was because of pelini..
Id still take Patterson or Harbough over both of them though...Harbough turned friggin stanford around...thats an accomplishment...

true, I think though that whenever Muschamp does get a HC position, he'll be as primed as anyone to be one of the next good ones.

No doubt that sometimes coaches can be pulled straight from coordinator positions & settle into a HC position-like Richt but I'd still rather get a guy, like Pelini, WITH HC experience. The world around college football, especially in the SEC, moves to fast, I want someone who can come in & jump on the horse.

Muschamp, easily.
I have a friend who is a reporter at an Omaha station and they all hate to deal with Pelini because he's such a douche.
I know it doesn't matter on the football field but I think that catches up with you eventually. I really don't have that high of an opinion of Pelini but that's just me.

Dipshit it's a hypothetical question. Not who you would want over miles just who you would want out of the two. For instance if he would have said, "would you rather frick tigerdandy's mom to piss him off or punch her in the face" I would say punch her in the face for playing part in bringing such a dumb frick into the world.

I'd take Muschamp. I think its mostly just cause he passes the smell test. I like Pelini a lot, but something about Muschamps attitude, demeanor, recruiting, job history, and success makes me think he's one of those really special guys just waiting for a great opportunity.
