I am a Miles supporter and not a whiner, but landmarks on the way up do not equal those same landmarks on the way down.

mauck and toefield were injured that year. marcus randall wasn't ready to be a starter. he wasn't ready to be the starter in 2004 either.

The thing is, 09 was not a "on the way down" season. o8 was, but in 09 you should have seen another set of "landmarks on the way up". Such as better record, better bowl game, and better national ranking.
