That doesn't matter, and can't possibly hurt recruiting in the least. Potential recruits make their decisions solely based on reading message boards to see how much fan support the head coach has. Just ask Bad Cat and his band of loons.

hard for a freshman to make the all frehsman team when very few see limited time on the field.

I dont realy care. We had some good freshman contribute and make plays, and show that next year and the years after they will do good.

Every ranter knows that the TRUE measure of a good program is how many make the all-conference freshman team.

No, but it does send a message to recruits. We have the #1 recruiting class. The cream of the crop freshman class and they dont produce enough for all conference on a team that ranked as low as 112 in total offense. It doesnt measure the program, but it does say something to the smarter recruits who do their homework.

If you NEED freshmen to come in and provide help you are not a top 5 talented team. How many freshmen contributed to Fla, Bama, TX or Ohio St. this year? Rantards don't know the answer to this because they do not actually follow or understand football. They only pay attention to LSU and have no frame of reference. I hope we NEVER have a freshman of the year. I would much prefer a team full of All SEC Sr's and Jr's!!
