PETA is really retarded in the fights they choose to pick.
They should be boycotting Rodeos and Veal - something they could actually get some momentum on - and stop making people angry with absurd positions like this.

Interest groups (like PETA, NRA, ACLU, etc) always make news on the fringes so they can win their share of battles and meet somewhere in the middle with the opposing viewpoint. This is nothing new and is actually positive because it basically keeps everybody in check, despite claims from each side that the other is "ruining America."
