Has anyone discussed Les Miles saying this to JJ at the end of regulation? Even at the end of the game, Miles still had no idea what was going on! His state trooper even had to tell him the game was over!

Was wondering the same thing. Looks like he was asking JJ if we had a TO.

See at about the 1:10 moment - LINK

The scoreboard showed 1 TO left for LSU, but it was wrong.

I think it was because the scoreboard showed that we had 1 TO left (per ppl at the game) and he looked up and saw it after the last play.

You're coach is literally retarded. I don't know what else you want me to say about it.

Yes, and it has been discussed/referenced many times.

The Miles defenders have said that there was still a TO on the jumbotron.

I said that he should have know he burned his last time out just a short while prior (after the 30 ticks on the clock).

What good would the TO have been with 0 seconds on the clock?

yeah I noticed that also. Honestly Miles had no clue. What is really scary is that there are people in the booth and on the sidelines that should be very aware of what the situation is, even more so the quarterback should know. I don't believe a Matt Flynn or Matt Mauck would have allowed any of that to happen with the timeouts or the spike.

good greif at least line up and send everyone to the end zone like when you were kids and try to find someone open instead of the spike.

dissapointing times for LSU fans....and I have been one for over 40 years

Coach Miles may never win a contest that involves quick, intelligent and accurate thinking, but, that does not mean that he's not the right coach for LSU.

Maybe, but it doesn't help your case when you botch basic grammar in the same breath that you call someone retarded.

That's pathetic. The coach is supposed to know what's happening in the game at all times.

The last person you ask is the cop...

I do not care what a coaches IQ is if a game winds down like that and he sees a timeout left on the scoreboard it's going to make him 2nd guess for at least a moment. You cannot deny that. I fault him for many things Saturday, but if there was a timeout on the scoreboard I do not fault him for the confused reaction when he saw it up there.
