Was pretty cool so far. Old school with couple new twists.

I haven't played my Wii in months, but I actually may get this game.

Of course, I still have Paper Mario sitting in the box with about 6 minutes of playing time in it.

I hadn't even heard of this game untill I read about it in this thread yesterday. I guess I just liked the older games because I went buy this right when I left work. I am loving this game so far. It reminds me a lot of Super Mario World for SNES which was my favorite.

I like the newer style games where you can move in all directions too, but I've been saying for a while that I wish they would make some games in the old 2-D paneling across the screen style. I also like that when you play multi-player, you don't have to wait for your turn. Everyone goes at the same time.

If you loved the days of Old School Mario, this game is a must buy. Its awesome and plays alot like Super Mario Bros 3.

I saw that on the commercial. But it looked annoying with 4 characters on the screen doing shite at once.

How is the multiplayer?

I prefer to play the game by myself. But if someone else wants to play, the multiplayer is better than just sitting around and waiting for your turn.

I cruised through the first world without dying... started thinking this game is too easy. But then I started dying in the desert. It's definitely old school, almost like they blended the best of each game from all the systems

This is the hardest entry in the series since Super Mario Bros 3. But god is it great. This game was meant for old schoolers, since I think that the fact that it is 2-D would be a turnoff for younger gamers. Thought Mario Galaxy was way too easy, but they've now made up for it with the difficulty of this game. Technically I'm in World 6, but I just found a canon that helped me get there.

I'm assuming you don't HAVE to save the toads once they pop back up on a completed course..Those things are hard to keep alive, kinda seems annoying to save them.

Great game though. Haven't played much multiplayer yet, but game is lots of fun. I've died more than i thought i would, it's better when a little harder.

It seems like the only thing that saving the toads does is earn you some extra lives. Then again, I haven't played very far into the game, so I could be wrong.

Bought this game last night and I give it a 10/10. If you like old school Marios, you'll love this game.
