I don't know much about him. Is he a threat to run (I realize he's white) or strictly a passing QB?

yes
but not like tebow

strictly a passing QB
not strictly, but he is a better passer than tebow, but not as good of a runner
the offense definitely changes a bit while he's in there
think chris leak, but taller, whiter and more like matt flynn

Is he faster than Tebow? More of a straight line runner?

Think Alex Smith more than Chris Leak. If he plays what you'll most likely see more than anything are roll outs with short passes to the FB, TE or RB. He'll run but won't go up the middle like Tebow can.

I use to worry about his running capability till I saw him run in games. I was impressed, kid can motor. He seems a much better passer and more hesitant to run. His strength is his arm. You'll be impressed with his arm.

I think he's a little faster than Tebow from what I've seen of him. But I have no evidence of whether he's really faster or not.

i think we can rattle him being this is his first game he would play in a hostile environment. But I think he brings a new threat that we will obviously have to prepare for in practice.

So tebow without the fullback power mentality?

Nope, not at all. Completely different style of QB. Brantley will not take on LB's and win the battle.

What's it matter? Alem'll just circle around back behind him anyway. We get no push up the middle.
He's got a perfect little spot to stand and deliver.

Starting out in 08, we were all impressed with Jarrett Lee's arm strength. . .

Isn't Tebow white!

Yeah, that Jake Locker couldn't run worth crap either. Tebow, Locker, Colt Mccoy - What a bunch of slow, no-power white guys.
Save your racist, stereotypical douche-bag comments for morning recess. . .

that's way off, he's much faster than Garrett

My bad, I was comparing thier running ability, not overall QB ability.
