with all the stops .. it will not be a "wine walk" on the way back .. more like a stagger ..

I'm guessing the BRPD open container control will be out in full force for this event, making sure the public is adequately protected.

I walk around with open containers all the time in BR. I've never been hassled. Anybody else have this issue?
Posted on 9/23/09 at 11:30 am to Y.A. Tittle
actually .. downtown BR is classified as a "parade ground" wednesday morning through saturday night .. same as LSU on gamedays .. so open containers are cool ..

oh, i am not "hating" on daddy landry .. i've done business with him .. that's a rich arse sugar cane farmer ... i am "hating" on that worthless piece of shite davis rhorer who has been the head of the downtown development district for years ... dude hasn't done shite for downtown and has sat back and let LSU, alton landry, jay and brian dykes, and rob muschmeche develop it for him while he pockets a 6-figure salary sitting on his worthless arse ..

I'm not sure how one would have even construed that out of your post.
Posted on 9/23/09 at 12:00 pm to Y.A. Tittle

If you're looking for a link for the wine walk deal, it's on facebook. Just search wine walk wednesdays. I got so many damn messages from them, I had to remove myself.

sorry dont have facebook, but is it basically what was typed in original post?
Posted on 9/23/09 at 3:23 pm to Penn
The guy who runs this is a total douche. I've had personal dealings with him, and can't stand him. Most of the owners of the places downtown are thinking about ending their agreement with him over the way he handles himself. He started talking a lot of shite about some restaurants downtown because they didn't want to offer more expensive wines for 3 dollars a glass. Basically all he does is send out a facebook message, show up and collect money. Then hit on chicks.
