Saints -13 against the lions is the lock of the week. Stafford will be turning the ball over and the saints look great on both sides of the ball. I am parlaying all my bets this week with Saints so when they cover I will be in vchip heaven!!!

I do not recommend betting on your own team.
Also worth noting, the Lions are on an 11-2-1 ATS run as a double digit underdog. I would not touch a big line like that in the league, week 1.

Saints D has been looking really good and their offense is as reliable as you can get. I also really like falcons -4 against miami

While i agree that's a lot of points to lay, I'm laying them as well. Saints cover 34-17

I'm new to betting and I have a stupid question.
What is the difference between -6 1/2 and -6?
-6 1/2 you would clearly have to win by 7. On a -6 spread do you have to win by 6 or 7? Thanks.

IF they win by 6 you lose if they win by 7 you win

So if you HAD to pick one you would go with Detroit?

if the spread is a whole number (such as 6) there can be a "push"
youll get your money back if the final score, in this example, is 26-20, 32-26, etc
if the spread is -6 1/2, a final score of 26-20 would result in a losing or winning bet, depending on which side you are on.

Mich St -14.5
Maybe Clemson +5
Tenn -7
Navy -7
Air Force +138
Houston OkSt over 67.5 (my big bet)
USC seems like a trap game.

I think the Lions cover against the saints, in terms of NFL bets, I'm taking the Bengals to cover against the Broncos.
Also, this USC sOSU game seems like a huge trap game, anytime the public is all over someone there is more to it than u see at first glance.
I like Iowa (-6.5) over Iowa state, but will be waiting to see if the line moves more in Iowas favor with people jumping on Iowa state after how bad Iowa played in week 1. Also Army (pick um) v Duke seems interesting, along with the 041 in the MSU AU game (yes I know they scored 5 points total last year)

So a "push" means you will get your money that you bet back and not actually win anything right?
