Like I said, that is pathetic. Tiger Band has been on campus practicing for over a month now.

WOW!! Your band doesn't start practice until school starts. That shows zero commitment by the athletics department and gives everyone else the impression that you don't care enough about your football program to even have the band at the game!! Even the high schools here have the band practicing during the summer.Does that hold true for your football team too? Maybe thats why you guys had a winless season last year, yall didnt even start practicing until the season started!!!

I hope you aren't serious because it really is pathetic if you are and I would be embarrassed.........

Oh and btw no it's not all we have to do but not everybody is in the band. Those that are pride themselves in what they do enough to want to show up in the off season and practice during the summer. Its called "Heart and Pride"!

Yeah but I was hearing different stories from different people including the media. I was hopeing someone in the band would respond and since this post I've talked to someone in the band and found out that they are taking about 50 members to the game.

I dont believe so. Im pretty sure that thats how it always has been. Believe me, our band program is just as good as yours. I doubt your whole band will be there, especially if the UW band wont be. I think UW is the latest starting school in the pac-10. Its just how its always been. Most students that go to UW arent from around here so its VERY hard to get the WHOLE band to come up here before summer ends.

This couldn't be farther from the truth.

Alot of starting before school has to do with how many scholarships are offered. UW has 20 partial scholarships. This is a huge difference between the two bands. I'll attach an address to a previous TD conversation.
