Should have gotten' best picture. Captures New Orleans in an incredible fashion. Loved it.

A long, boring movie on a ridiculous premise. The only thing that kept me interested was the setting.

I enjoyed this movie, and though Brad Pitt did a great job as the main character. Did move slow at times especially early on, but overall is a solid watch.

agree on the visually stunning. nice characters. premise towards the end was a bit too much for me. I liked it all the way until the ending where it was too over the top.

I thought it was kind of boring. Like a Forrest Gump spinoff, only not as interesting.

Nice to look at, but boring and slow and too damn long. And I like slow, long movies.

However many people love this film like it was the reinvention of the wheel and better than sliced bread all at one time.

+1

It is overrated. The only cool part was the setting of New Orleans.

one part that bothered me is that I felt like I was watching a Forrest Gump sequel with the various characters, larger than life events, etc. It was good overall though but not better than Slumdog for best picture.

I really enjoyed the movie and especially how it captured NOLA. It is a very polarizing moving in case you haven't gathered that yet

If you like epic movies staring Brad Pitt, then you will probably like this one.

This type of film seems to be the defining characteristic of Brad's career. I really like most of his other epic movies, and I liked this one but not as much as his others.
