hopefully we get a righty tomorrow.

We will....either Bama or SC's Ace.

I hope the hitting coach can teach them to hit opposite field this offseason. I don't think an adjustment can be made for this postseason. Frustrating to watch all season!

I'd throw a damn lefty just for the hell of it. As long as he was one of my top 5 or 6 pitchers. He would beat us.

I wouldn't care who my ace was against LSU. I would pitch a lefty, even if he was a mid-week guy. If that fails, then go to the ace.

i hope they throw a lefty, we need more practice

I don't know the stats on LSU's hitting against lefties vs right handers, but it has to be woeful. If LSU's opponents have good leftie pitchers, the secret to beating LSU will be pitch left handers. I wish we could find a way to beat them. If we can't, there is no way we can win the CWS.

If I had a bat boy that could pitch left handed I'd use him against LSU.

I'd like to believe practice is what we need but frick man

Yes, I hope we get a righty.

Look we have a national seed locked up, and thats awesome. We probably don't even need to win tomorrow to ensure it. However, this loss was disappointing on so many levels: It showed we are a way below average team hitting wise when batting against a decent to good lefty and that could be the thing that prevents us from winning a CWS championship. Also, we showed no heart nor did we have any kind of a killer instinct. EXTREMELY disappointing.

i know, but last year we had this problem, but figured it out in may, this year, we just haven't figured it out, i hope we see nothing but lefties the rest of this tourney

Do you realy believe SU will face a righty tommorrow? No indeed not, they will a lefty and he dosesn't even have to be their ace not even avarege just put the ball over the plate.
I do not believe they will make it to the CWS. This a problem that they have had all year long and it does not get fixed overnight.
#1 seeded and can not beat a teams avarege pitcher if he is a lefty, and do not think everyone does not know about it. This is all they will see no matter what. You would think a team that is loaded with players that is 1st and 2nd round draft choices. In the majors you have to be able to hit lefties.
I am saying
and hoping that they will wake up and play like #1 team is supposed to.

The Tigers have had this problem for quite some time, even during the championship years. But I honestly beleive this may be the worst year ever against lefties.

We are 27-3 against RH starters, and 14-13 against LH starters.
