Dont think the dude was a reject. Just let the kid go in peace. He saw that there was much better talent ahead of him and called it quits.
Bama does not have our talent so he can play sooner and maybe better his life.

i agree. he could end up being a stud. on the other hand i can't wait to see what coach cooper does with pj and crew

It is curious... Why would Les let him sign with Bama? I can only assume he felt Phelon's skills were weak enough that he was no threat to us.

Miles is not a hater and wants the best for the guys he recruits. If this is the better path for him then let him be.

Damn. I hate to see him at a divisional rival, but I wish him the best.
He was a big signing for us and stayed loyal when Saban went after him hard.
He wants to play and no one should begrudge him for that.

You guys may as well get used to this, anytime someone on LSU mentions transferring, Saban will be on the phone himself convincing them to sign with Alabama. He would love nothing more than Phelon to become all SEC under his watch...
