Would Like To Give A Shout To The Refs This Game!

I'm always bitching about officials. I admit it. Particularly, the crap we have to put with in the SEC. I feel, however, that we have legit whines with what the SEC has to offer us.
I have to say that this game was WELL officiated.
I don't care if Butler shot twice as many FTs at one point. (we caught up at the end of the game when they HAD to foul). This game had a nice flow, and the refs were VERY consistent with their calls. I actually thought we got a few early in our favor, but after Butler threw their 3rd or 4th illegal screen, I paid more attention to it.
I'm so happy to be out of league play. I wish every SEC team could experience what we experienced today.

cept when Thornton drives to the basket and gets tackled and no call was made but he still makes the bucket...happened several times.

LOL. Butler was in the bonus with 11 mins left in the game. Thornton gets hammered and no foul is called but Howard gets every ticky tack call. They did their part to help Butler but it wasn't enough

I somewhat agree. Sure they missed some calls. But, for the most part they were pretty consistent with their calls.

I missed the first 10 minutes of the first half, but the rest of what I watched was not a well officiated game. That big white sum bitch was getting everything called in his favor. EVERYTHING.
If Taz or someone else so much as layed a finger on him they were getting called.

I don't about well officiated. I remember Matt Howard getting away with a lot of fouls and that Marcus Thronton's foul close to the to the end where he had his hands up and all of a sudden the whistle blew that some BS. There were other times too.

Exactly! That is precisely when I texted my brother and asked him why we couldn't get a call inside. It blows my mind.

Yep, the refs tried to give it to Butler just like they try to give the game to LSU's opponent every game we play.
I just wonder why we ALWAYS get shafted on the calls?
Surely, it's not because 99% of LSU fans have the P&G Blinders on.
